Who gets to define violence? 

Knife Play is the game society plays where whoever holds the knife holds the power. Whoever’s in power gets to define violence: who’s allowed to be victims and who gets to shirk the responsibility of perpetrator. 

People in power define morality. The concept of objective morality is a wool they throw over our eyes. It is what chains us. 

Maybe this is why I find sin ethical.

“Everything in the world is about sex, except sex. Sex is about power”.

Do you agree?

That quote has been misattributed to the great, subversive writer Oscar Wilde but after some digging I found it was most likely said by Robert Michels in an interview about Freud and psychoanalysis. And isn’t it such a pedantic, wannabe omniscient, prescriptive perspective?

Let me posit a better phrase: “Everything is about death, especially sex”.
